LUPICIA teas by colour
At LUPICIA, we classify our teas by the black, green or yellow colour they generate when in water. Chinese Puer teas, for example, are labelled ‘black’, Japanese green teas ‘green’, and wellness teas, such as Rooibos, ‘yellow’.

 The quality of the tea we select to sell in our stores is maintained by our commitment to providing you with highest quality tea. We maintain this quality by keeping true to our promise to carefully control our production process which includes using our own buyers who check the quality of tea at the source before it is imported.
After we receive the imported tea at our production plant it is cleaned and packed
on the same day it arrives.

Packaging
Almost all our teas come pre-packed in aluminium bags sealed with nitrogen to keep the freshness longer. Once opened, we recommend you store the tea in an air-tight container.
If you do not have one, we offer our original tins with your teas. They make an ideal gift, too.

Our skillful and creative tea blenders take special care in creating new blends of tea; which is why we have such a great variety of originally blended teas for you to enjoy.
Tea sampling counters
All teas are available for tasting. We have tea sampling counters in all our retail stores so that you our customers, can try a different teas before you decide to make a purchase.
